Why saunas are good for mental health
In the UK, we’ve been used to seeing saunas as a way to relax after a gym workout, or as part of spa session, but it seems we’re slowly coming around to the idea that they can be more than that. More and more wellbeing spaces are making the spa more central to their concept, and taking inspiration from other parts of the world in how a sauna can be anything from a community building tradition to a personal ritual.
